PRIVATE 5 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH VIA MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND CAMEL RIDE IN SAHARA

DAY 1: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA AND CAMEL RIDE

We organize private tour from Fes with depart from your hotel at 8 am and begin your journey. Pass through Ifrane, a winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930's to resemble a Swiss village. Continue passing through the cedars forest in Azrou where you will see the monkeys then drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks, then continue towards Merzouga in the road. The Merzouga guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Erg Chebbi. Enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel and after 1-hour, you will reach to the desert camp to spend night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a dinner, watch the stars until you fall asleep.

DAY 2: FROM ERG CHEBBI DESERT – TINGHIR – DADES GORGES

Perhaps wake early to catch the desert sunrise before breakfast, then visit the holy town of Rissani, the birthplace of Moulay Ali Cherif — founder of Morocco’s ruling Alaouite Dynasty. Hop into your air-conditioned minivan and head to the oasis of Tinghir in the foothills of the High Atlas mountain range. Take a 1-hour walk along the Todgha River and admire lush palm trees and olive groves growing by the riverbanks. Visit Berber villages with your guide and learn of the locals’ traditional lifestyle, then head on to the magnificent Todgha Gorge for lunch (own expense). In the afternoon, drive out through the Dades Valley along the famous ‘Road of 1,000 kasbahs.’ Visit one of the region’s ancient kasbahs and gain insight into the role it has played in the region’s history, then head on to your guest house in Dades Gorges for dinner and your overnight accommodation.

DAY 3 :MERZOUGA AND EXCURSION IN ERG CHEBBI

After Breakfast and rest we will start A visit to Rissani the first capital of Alaouite dynasty ,including some historical kasbahs ,and the The famous Market ,you will have the opportunity to test the local food of the area the Pizza Berber ,then we will explore Sahara desert dunes, passing through small villages, where we will stop to listen to some Saharan Music in El Khamlia, ,you will visit the lake in Merzouga and the oasis. After rest a mint tea the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes ,you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel, then take the Camel back to the Hotel in the Foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes for Overnight in local riad with dinner..

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA /DADES / OUARZAZATE

Get up early, to watch the sunrise . We ride camels back to the village and after shower we’ll drive through the Dades Valley past dramatic escarpments , we enjoy Road of a Thousand kasbahs that rise up like turreted sand castles along this ancient caravan trading route. We visit Ouarzazate area which has long been a popular location for Hollywood films such as The Last Temptation of Christ, Jewel of the Nile. Overnight in local riad with dinner.

DAY 5: OUARZAZATE / AIT BENHADDOU / MARRAKECH

After breakfast we will start a visit the kasbah of Taourirt ,the Atlas Studios movie studios; the largest and most famous of all Africa. we will visit the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou , declared UNESCO World Heritage and which was the scene of films like The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia,we continue passing through the High Atlas and the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, to Marrakech.
