6 DAYS MOUNTAIN BIKE HOLIDAY IN MOROCCO FROM MARRAKECH AVAILABLE DURING WHOLE YEAR

TRIP DESCRIPTION :

We organize biking trips from Marrakech to Atlas.

Day 1: Marrakech to Atlas : We departure from Marrakech by 4x4 towards the Tizi n Tichka pass and the village of Telouet. After lunch we will climb quite high in altitude between 1700 and 2200 meteres on a mix of 4x4 tracks and single tracks to arrive in Tighza. The terrain is mountainous , dotted with indigo coloured doors and impressive Kasbahs. We meet with the local Berbers living in the area. Ride distance: 40km , Uneven positive: 600m

Day 2: Today we enjoy biking in dry red rocky trails and desert. You will ride through sleepy Berber villages heading to Ouarzazate. We pass through a deserted valley, following the river towards Ouarzazate.

Ride distance: 60km , Uneven positive: 800m

Day 3: We transfer you by 4x4 to join the track on the mountain side where you will begin today’s Atlas mountain bike adventure. From here we will head to ‘the valley of the roses’. We will ride onwards into a landscape with red rocks and a Berber villages. We enjoy the amazing gorges of the Agouti River. Ride distance: 60km , Uneven positive: 1000m.

Day 4 : We enjoy biking in heart of the Atlas Mountains. Riding through the M’Goun as one of the most beautiful valleys in Morocco. We head towards the mythic Dades gorges. We will follow the riverbed and ride the altitude desert of Ait Youl to the village of Bou Taghrar. Ride distance: 50km , Uneven positive: 900m

Day 5 : After the climb of the Taliouit pass you ride down the valley of Boulmane Dades. From here you follow the ‘valley of the thousands Kasbahs’. We enjoy riding between the High Atlas range and the Djbel Saghro. Then we finish in Skoura under its famous peaceful palm tree plantation.

Ride distance: 50km , Uneven positive: 600m

Day 6 : Starting the last day with a short transfer to the northern side of the Atlas, to visit the fortress of Ait Benhaddou. Then we head to the last trail of the trip. Almost 30 km of downhill single-track free ride. Surrounded with pine woods, we encounter swooping corners, red dirt, spongy pine needles and skids whilst slaloming through the trees. We transfer you to Marrakech. End of service.
