ITINERARY FOR GROUP 3 DAYS BERBER VILLAGES TREK

Three-day hike Three Berber valleys discovered: an incredible three-day hike in Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Imlil, and Azzadene are three adjacent Atlas Mountain valleys that offer an authentic experience amidst breathtaking scenery and endearing Berber culture.

DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMI OUGHLAD - TINZERT

A three-day Atlas expedition to explore Berber settlements is available. The day begins with transportation from your accommodation to Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1,450m), where you will meet your Berber muleteer and guide. The first day will be spent acclimating at Ouirgane National Park. The landscape is gentler here, with copper green soil and juniper trees. Overnight at Tinzert Gite. Today's trek will take about 4 hours.

DAY 2: TINZERT-AZZADEN-VALLEY (AIT AISSA):

After breakfast, we'll make our way out of the Valley and into the breathtaking Azzaden Valley. The views begin with a gushing mountain stream surrounded by lush walnut woodlands, rising up to Toubkal and her sister peaks at the Valley's apex. We'll spend the night at Ait Aissa at a local Gite. Walking time is around 5-6 hours.

DAY 3: AIT AISSA - TIZI N MZIK - IMLIL:

Today begins with an exhilarating rise out of the Azzadene Valley. We'll climb the valley to Tizi Oussem before descending down the Tizi n Mzik pass to Imlil (2489m). After lunch, we'll be driven back to Marrakech, where you'll have plenty of time to explore the city. Walking takes about 4-5 hours. Thank you for joining us on a trustworthy travel company's guided Atlas Mountains excursion. At the end of the walk, we will drive you to your hotel in Imlil, Marrakech, or to the airport, bringing our three-day Berber villages tour to a close.
